Andrew DeKemper
Andrew has served as Worship and Youth Pastor at Grace Church since June 2012. Born and raised in Mount Vernon, Indiana, he is a graduate of Mount Vernon High School. Andrew graduated from Hazard Community and Technical College where he earned an associates degree in Professional Studio Artist, Bluegrass and Traditional Music Specialization. During his last year at Hazard College he felt a call to be a pastor and a teacher. In 2009, Andrew began attending Trevecca Nazarene University and graduated in 2012 with a bachelors degree in Music Education. He then moved to Evansville and began employment at Helfrich Park Stem Academy as a music teacher and joined us at Grace Church.
Since childhood Andrew has felt a passion for music. He plays several instruments and enjoys leading others in worship to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Andrew met his wife Alissa while leading worship at a youth revival and they were married in 2011. They have a son named AJ. Andrew enjoys playing music, farming, riding horses, fishing, and spending time with family.
